something to remember

Lucy is at the age where she is doing the most hilarious things...mostly mimicking us. I know before long she'll be saying the funniest things. I have a big fear of forgetting these little moments so I'm starting a new weekly post called "something to remember." Cheesy? Maybe. But I don't care. This week's moment -

This morning I was reading "If You Give a Cat a Cupcake" to Lucy (her fave right now, thank you Katy!). She was sitting on my lap and as I turned the first page she gave me a stubborn "nooo!" and pushed my hand away. She looked up at me with a furrowed brow, licked her finger and turned the page. She repeated this process through the entire book. Lick, turn page. Lick, turn page.
